I went to install my new TST Fuel plate and did everything the directions said. I cannot get the truck running. I cracked all the injectors and there is now fuel. What did I do wrong. I have pulled the plate out 4 times and still no fuel.

Did you happen to unplug the Shutdown Solenoid while you were in there?

If not... make sure that the Shutdown Solenoid is pulling all the way up when you bump the key in the start position.

I'd bet money on there being a problem with the solenoid...

When I get home tonight I will check that. I did unplug the shut off soleniod. How can you tell that it is working when the key is turned on.

No Fuel

On the bottom of the shut off soleniod the is all little rod attached to a lever on the side of the pump, turn the ignition key to the run position and make sure the rod is lifting up like it should or you can use you fingers and push the lever up, this should get you running. :D

The solenoid will not pull up until you crank the engine. If you only turn the key to ther run position you can manually push it up and it should hold unless there is problem with the relay. Try to start the engine, after it cranks and if it doesn't start, leave the key in the run position and check the solenoid. If it is down, try to push it up, if it holds, then try again to crank the engine again and it should start.

Let us know what you find.

Sweet. Nothing like a quick fix to get you running. Now you get to figure out why the solenoid didn't pull up properly in the first place! :D

Mine has done that after I have moved it around. Just actuate it by hand a few times... and it works great till I decide to play with my fuel plate again... ...

My solenoid got sticky, I lubed it up and it worked fine for a while then it went south for good. What I mean is that it wouldn't pull up on it's own when I tried to start the truck. I ended up changing the relay and it has been fine ever since. If the solenoid holds up then it's usually not the solenoid but the realy or an adjustment issue.

I'm glad to hear that you can start the truck now. It's a real hassle to pop the hood everytime you want to start the truck.

I noticed in your signature that you have a new truck, what did you put the plate in?
