Well, not really, but my headliner is drooping - front and back it's falling down. What's up with that? Anybody else having this problem? How to fix it?? :(

Mine drooped for awhile until I decided to install Running Lights on top of the cab. I had to remove the headliner to do the install. I just peeled back the parts of the faabric which had drooped, scraped some of the foam off of the hardboard and re-glued the fabric with 3-M spray adhesive. That was 1 1/2 years ago, and it is holding great.

or... you can order a new headliner from D/C.

My headliner was drooping from the time I bought the truck. It only got worse since it's a standard cab and I LOVE riding with my window's down when its warm!Oo. I eventually had it redone by a custom's shop in my hometown last year. Cost $50!:D This was after trying, trying so more, and retrying using spray adhesive. :(

the problem is that it's tough to get the stuff to stick once the cloth has seperated from the foam... the headliner material is a foam backed cloth...

you can re-cover your own headliner in your truck for about $15 or so... get the material at any decent fabric store, use 3M spray adhesive. I'd probably pay someone $50 though! LOL!

When I was in High school my friend had the same problem with his Saab. We used the 3M spray and it worked great. only thing is the O. E. fabric was trashed, so we put in some 2" neon green shag carpet. I don't think it would work well in the Ram though :D

Those were the days,

When the front sections started to peel away from the backing (happens when you drive with the windows down and the back sliding window open) I took off the headliner and used some large split loom and covered the entire front edge with it, so it sort of acts as a clamp, holding the fabric from peeling down and away when the wind gets a bit gusty in the cab. So far so good, now may have to do the same to the back edge.
