Piped, that is!

After living with the drone from the straight pipe for a while, I'm ready to go back to stock...

Unless- there is a replacement muffler or cat back where I can keep the nice exhaust note outside the cab without that nasty resonance inside.

What say ye- is there an aftermarket muffler with less back pressure that's quiet in the cab, or should I just return to stock? I tow a fair amount, so it's not like running around empty, noise wise.

Thanks-

Gary

I just put my stock system back on last week. Had a straight pipe for about 8 months. I'm done with it. It's one of those things where it was cool at first, but then the drone and sounds the truck made in the cab, made me feel like I was driving a 25 year old truck. I am really loving the way my truck sounds stock again for some reason.

I had a straight 5".

After pulling the camper across the country I decided it was a little to loud.

It was kind of fun watching the people plug there ears as I went by.

I still have the straight pipe, however I found a great device that quieted it down.

BD Twin turbos!

It's not quiet as economical as a muffler but I am very pleased with the results.
