Help....I need a turbocharger

Just took my turbocharger apart to rebuild it and found too much internal damamge plus broken parts not in the kit. (Thrust bearing & ushing torn up)

Sooooo, I'm about to start a frantic search for a Holset H1C turbo, either rebuilt (preferably for budgetary reasons) or new. I'm out of commission, so I need one asap.

I will do some internet searching like TST for example, and will check availbility thru NAPA, etc in the morning. I may even resort to calling the "stealer", but not sure about that.

I have the 16 cm housing that I will put on the replacement.

Anybody got a good one they want to part with?

Any suggestions out there on sources that can ship asap?

Well, thanks all for the suggestions and help.

After some internet searching and quite a few phone calls (many not returned) , I ordered a new H1C from usdieselparts. At $388 it was by far the lowest cost I could find, (and actually in stock) even considering my son's repair shop discount.

Paid extra for 2 day shipping, so with some luck I'll see it friday and with even more luck it will be the correct part (we did double check the numbers over the phone)

I'll let you know how things turn out.

Anybody looking for a new stock exhaust housing? (18 cm I believe) I'll have one available soon!
