need help from someone who has a '96 CTD help me identify proper hook of a wire. Left side at battery there's a blue wire, about #16, that is loose and I can't find Where it connects. Had battery out, wraped positive battery connector with rag and tied it back out of the way. This is all at the left hand battery. as I was puting it back together this loose blue wire shows up. It goes into a fuse link, after the fuse link turns to RD/GN wire. Also into the same wire bundle goes an orange wire that is connected to positive battery connector. My trouble is after having connector tied back my fuel shut off solenoid does not lock in on start cycle. Is this wire my trouble?

Many thanks RFMAC

sounds like the fusible link for the shutoff solenoid relay. hook it back up to the positive terminal on the battery should solve your problem.

Thanks Jim, Hooked to positive post this A M. works normal again. My fear was if I hooked to + it would smoke everything under the hood. Mac
