Reading about another stray plug brought this to mind. When I changed my lift/transfer pump, there was a three-cavity electrical connector "christmas treed" to the pump bracket. It had little rubber plugs in each cavity to seal them until you plug something else in there. Can anyone help with what one might plug in there? Is it for trailer brake wiring?

Thanks,

Not "its for Diagnostic purposes"

Or

"It's a way for a tech to connect to the Electronic bus system"

That Rocks!!!

Edit: That's Bombaholic

I figure, just get to the point. :D Nobody actually uses it for much of anything else. :-laf

I am gathering that it is the Cummins diagnostic connector, correct? Make sense to me since it's attached to the engine. And then Edge uses that as a "point of entry" into the fuel control computers.

Ok, thanks!
