Help identifying "chirp" sound when putting my 48re in gear

Hi guys,

I'm looking to pick a few brains with this.

I've had my transmission for about 2 years now, and its run fine. No issues to speak of, until yesterday. I was out and about, and heard a noise i hadn't heard before as i was putting my truck in gear to leave my house. I can't confirm when the noise first started, but yesterday was the first time i noticed it. It makes the noise any time i move it into or out of any of the forward gears. It does not make the noise with reverse, unless I move into reverse from a forward gear. The chirp i'm hearing is high-to-low going into gear, and low-to-high coming out.

Does anyone have any ideas on what it is, or what may be causing it?
