I finally got the VP out and found the support bracket is broken. Does anyone know how much work is in this? I know the power steering pump needs to come out. Is that a ton of work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The power steering pump does not need to come out.

I'm in California.



I got the bracket replaced. I seperated the vacuum pump with the power steering pump attached ... checked to o-ring while I was at it ... seems fine!



I installed new injectors but the rain was getting in the way. I'll be back at it tomorrow. Pump is in, but not hooked up yet.



Any tips on doing a valve adjustment? Is the intake valve the nearest to the front of the truck on each cylinder?

valve adjustment

the valve will directly corispond with the exaust or intake (port in the manifold) it is nearest to exaust is the easist to find this is true for every thing with valves. roll it over and double cheak it. if one adjustment looks way diffrent than the others its probly wrong. have fun!
