Happy Birthday Wally19!

Thanks Clintons.

What is the easiest way to reduce the size of image files? I reduced the image quality on my digital camera and that halfed the size, from 650 K to 325K. Still too big to meet the 122K limit.

I sure would like to post some pics in my gallery.

PS: they are jpg format.

2 ways that I know of....

Open up a picture in a image editor, I use Microsoft Photo Editor or the software that came with my Fuji digital camera.

1. Resize the image. Example: Converting a 1024 X 768 image to 640 X 480.

2. Save the file as a lower quality jpg. You will need to experiment with this one to see what happens to your image quality.

Both of these will shrink the file size dramtically.

I have a Kodak camera and it has it's own software. If I open the picture with the start menu (my documents, my pictures) then I right click to edit and it opens in Paint. I think it's under the "image" tab there is a stretch/skew and I plug in a smaller percentage. (50% usually works for me)

(BTW, save it under a new name or will loose the original resolution forever)

Webshots.com is pretty cool online album as well. I posted pics of the auto show there so I wouldn't have to reduce them all.
