I've had it with the dealers in the Virginia Beach/Chesapeake Virginia area. $125 for a freaking oil change???? Give me a break. I know the price of diesel and oil has risen in the last few years, but come on. I'm done with the dealers. I could change the oil myself, but really don't have the time or the place to do the work. If anyone out there knows a mechanic or a good shop that can be trusted to do simple oil changes and work on Cummins engines, please let me know. #@$%!#@$%!#@$%!

I am not to far from you. I'm in VA beach. I do all my oil changes and other maintenance on base. Depending on what kind of place you live in doing it in your drive way is not that hard to do. If you do not have base access I don't see a problem with getting you on base every couple of months to get it done for the cost fluids, filter and about $2 in stall fees with free tools.

Try D & J Auto on Airline Blvd

Dave used to be the service writer for First Team Dodge. He will treat you right. Tell him I sent you and he might knock a little off. 757-405-3055. While your there you can see my 97 that he bought. Ken Irwin

Thanks for all the quick responses. Sorry it took so long for me to respond to this post, but works been keeping me kind of busy. I'll definitely look into the suggestions given. Like I stated, I'm sick of feeling like I'm getting ripped off at the Dodge dealer.
