help!!! increase h.p.

i have a 01 h. o. is there anything that i can do to it to increase with h. p without buying performance chips and injectors if anyone has any suggestions please let me know

There are two general ways to increase HP on your truck. Electronically with "Black Boxes" (a. k. a. Chips) or mechanically with injectors.



I guess there's always drugs like propane, but it's much more common for people to use chips or injectors.



Why, may I ask, did you want to stay away from injectors and chips?

Sorry gmg,but the 24v can't be tweaked like your 12v because the pump is electronic.

Exhaust modifications will help free up Low-End power, and an ATS manifold will free up High-end power.

Check out my sig for the Exhaust, mods I have done to my truck.

Also a new Air filter will do good. The "Moparguy Big Honkin' Air Filter" (BHAF) is a really good choice for flowing more air.

I have spent about $600-700 doing exhaust modificatios,, and I can tell you,, the mods I have done won't even come near the power, say a PE COMP will get you. The comp, around $1K can get you +120 HP of what your truck is making now.



One mod I recommend you do 110% is GET GAUGES Guages can make your wallet a bit lighter, but is cheaper than a melt down of a $$ Turbo Diesel Engine.
