I purchased this set and installed them. They were supposed to be BD 60hp injectors. I have very noticeable increase in power but lots of smoke on demand. There is a more lumpy idle (like an old Mack truck when it is cold) and lots of light blue smoke after start up when idling the tends to go away when the coolant temp comes up.

The attached two pictures are showing the new and old injector. The BD ones have a hand etched numbers 3341 and 865 marked on all six plus the stamped or more official parts numbers are shown in the second picture.

Do I have reman inejctors? I am wondering if they sent like 90 hp injectors?

Truck runs fine overall but a little too smoky for my liking.

My guess is house molested Remans, Buy ONLY Virgin NEW or Gen-New BOSCH... Its a little early to stipulate. When it comes to CR Injectors talk only to experts, watch out for the grocery sellers.

BD is an authorized Bosch shop and they have invested huge money in getting the best equipment (something like a million dollars if I remember correctly). I have used several sets of their 60 HP injectors and all performed flawlessly. They were based on their reman process which is much more involved and comprehensive than the corner stores can do. Where did you get the questionable injectors? I am guessing that it was through a third party who might have misrepresented the pedigree.

Authorized is NOT equal, I doubt it was millions, and if it was it was wasted $$$$$ BC you would have sell millions just to break even, or you would have to shave something to compete with Bosch. Bosch has world wide changes now in place, to combat all the selling under Bosch titles. Simply stated if you molest any Bosch (OEM) product and DO NOT remove their name and place yours ,1 and your done you will lose any certification form BOSCH.

BOSCH will no longer warranty sales form vendors that DO NOT follow their policy's, I m sure BOSCH has paid millions in third party warranties.
