Well I was installing my new Air Dog when while zip tying the new fule line in place brake fluid driped on my head #@$%! I sprung a leak at the the tube clamp behind the fuel tank #@$%! So now I have decide to replace all the brake lines with Poly Armor lines. Going dow to Advanced Auto Parts today to get a roll, flare tool and fittings. I have 4-Wheel ABS and have never replaced brake lines before. What do I need to look for or do when replacing the lines between the Master Cylinder and the ABS valve body :confused: Are there any special bleeding procedures to follow:confused: I would apreciate any help. I have to go on a business trip next week and need the truck and right now I am dead in the water or in my case driveway. I am in the Kenosha WI area. Thanks in advance.
 
One other question: What is that valve device on the rear axle that apears to indicat load on the truck? I have air bags and no matter the weight in the truck I keep the same or cles to height via the air bags. What would happen if it was removed from the system?
 
TSB 05-04-98 covers removing the height sensing valve.



Thanks for the info but since I only run fully loaded when I tow and that is only about 25% of the time I can't remove it. I will need to look at this closer and redesign the actuating arm. I think if I shorten the arm it will operate normaly whith little to no load but when I drop the weight of the fiver on it and adjut the air bags it still will sit about an inch or so lower. With a shorter arm this would allow more travel of the arm with less drop of the body when loaded.



Does this sound like it would work?

Sounds like it should. And maybe lengthen the link (or make it a turnbuckle for adjustability) to get the rears to work a little harder and save the fronts.
