I just got finished with the install of the Westach Electronic FP Gauge and now the truck will not start. The starter just turns, but won't turn over. I tried priming the LP just to see if it would help; however, still no luck. Also the FP Gauge pegs before even trying to start the truck.

Don't know much about the fuel pressure guage but then I'm a 12 V'r. The needle pegging before you even try to start the truck sounds like a power wire going to ground. You may want to re-check your connections.

I rechecked the wiring, switched two wires, and now the gauge seems to work. I have 15 psi when I bump the starter, so I know there is fuel pressure. However, it still won't start. It just turns and turns and turns. HELP!!!

Did air get in the system?. You may have to try cracking some injector lines loose at the head to bleed the system. I have not ever had to do this part. Maybe someone will chime in with the technique without me having to look in the service manual. With a hard to start after a filter change I have found cranking it over and giving it 1/2 throttle helps.

Like I said earlier I don't know jack about the 24V but you probably need to check what circuits are also supplied by the power line you had going to ground. May have fried something. The other thing to do is prime the fuel lines. I know on mine all I need to do is loosen the banjo on the fuel filter canister and pump the primer. When I changed the injectors I had to do that plus go farther down line and crack each injector line to get the air out. You may have air in the system, do a search on priming the lines in the 24V section and see what you can find. That's about as much as I know. Good luck.

Sent a PM Dan. PM me back if you don't get it and we can get on the phone and get her lit... ... ... ...

Thank's everyone who responded. I went out and tried the 1/2 throttle thing while cranking it and after a few seconds it turned over. Thank God. I was dreading having to bleed the system, especially because it is now dark.
