With a 3 year old and a newborn, time is a rare and valuable commodity. I purchased a set of Mopar tubular side steps to install on my MegaCab. I finally found an hour or two this afternoon where the kids are napping, its not raining and the wife is out of the house..... perfect time to install!!!

Alas, no $#%*-ing instructions in the box!!!:mad:

Anyone have any instructions so I don't waste my time trying to figure it out?

Thank you!!

There are 2 differnt set ups depending on build dayes of the kit. The earlier ones had the slots for the brakets in the styrafoam packaging in which case the brakets locations were stickers on the brackets and letters on the pkging. The newer ones the brackets locations are etched on them.

Assemble them loosly on the ground then line them up next to the truck you will then be able to tell what locations the rocker panel slot tape covers will have to be removed for the install.

Thanks Bob! You are right, the install doesn't look that challenging, but the funny part is that the stickers that indicated Left or Right naturally fell off the brackets and were stuck to the inside of the box!... . just perfect! :)

I ended up finding the instructions on-line, but my window of opportunity slammed shut and I had to give up until next weekend where I might get lucky and find an open hour or two.

The light gage support brackets are simple to figure out but the aluminum ones are a bit tougher. They must face the correct direction to place the tube correctly to the body (frt to rear)

Thanks again. I'm looking forward to getting some steps back on as I keep expecting something to be there when I get out of the truck and have almost falled on my can on more than one occasion!
