200k on a 6.5 diesel Blazer?

It just don't look right

If it is an Isuzu C223T engine, the thing is running at point break already. I have one in my 86 Trooper II. Nothing works except for making more smoke. I'm working on using a VW TDI intercooler on it for better mileage.

You know, if one was to just reply to the title... The definitively correct answer is:

"We know that already. Now what's your point?"

If the pump is similar in appearance to the VE pump used on the first gen, the fuel screw is in the same place.

If your truck has an inline pump, then adjustments are not for you. #ad

To make more power with your engine, you need to open up the exhaust and intake... A K&N air filter plus a more open exhaust will get you the ability to handle a bit more fuel.

HA HA Powerwagon. It's not mine, just trying to help make it a little safer. Dam thing won't get out of it's own way. So are you saying if it looks like a VE pump then it is a VE pump or?

I have no idea what was done to it, but I had a 81' Luv diesel that wasn't a pooch. The black smoke would roll but for a little truck it did run pretty well. BTW it was a one owner /w/ about 40,000 mi. on it for what it's worth.

Well, yeah. If it looks like one, it is... but it's not made by Bosch, just licensed by Bosch. Having seen one maybe once in my life, I can't tell you right up front what's in it, because I don't remember. Some of those japanese VE pumps have more screws and stuff hanging off them than carb... but if you look real close, the fuel screw is the fuel screw, and it's in the same place.

ha ha I had one of those and you are so correct that they can't get out of their own way !! But my fuel milage was at 29 with it #ad

Currently have a '81 with about 264,000 and still manage 30-33 mpg. Do not try to set speed records even though did get some speeding tickets in it. Just relax and let it get out of it's own way when it gets there.
