Anybody in Pasco Washington that might be able to lend a hand to JNutter, (Shooter)? He is currently limping from exit 109 (going north) to exit 102, on Hwy 82. He then is headed to exit 7 on Hwy 182, to a KOA campground, to try and get 5er in place and seek help with truck problem. His cell # is 1-505-385-8856.

TIA to any local TDR members that may be able to help.

FRIJOLE

:( :( :(

Vaughn MacKenzie lives in Pasco but he is not listed in the TDR travel companion :(

Thanks guys for the responses.

I am having some transmission problems, I will be contacting Bill K first thing Mon. morning for some telephonic trouble shooting.

Rob H called and gave me some #'s. also offered to trailer my truck from His place to Bill K's on Wend if I can get the truck to his house by Tues. I will have a better idea of whether or not I'll be able to drive it or not to Rob's after talking to Bill K.

Dang, Jack your luck is running worse than mine. Hope you get the rig going again. I would help out but you went the wrong direction ;) Let us know how it comes out.

More like Rob Hanson?

John B Cohen, Danandme::: Obviously we DO have more like him! Thanks all for your involvement. frijole... ... :D

Well all's well that ends well!!!!!:)

How about that customer service:D :D :):)

How about thoes TDR and former TDR members :D:cool:

Bill went to Enumclaw to Rob Hansons to stand by and use Rob's trailer to recover my truck if necessary while I , after installing a Bill K band aid, drove in from Pasco. I am now at Bills house and they will be rebuilding my transmission with the bullet proof stuff this week. Apparently I fried the 3rd gear clutches and welded the clutch plates together.

Thanks to all the TDR and non-TDR members who called and offered their assistance or assisted.

Shooter aka JNutter

transmission's out. Fried and welded 3rd gear clutches due to a obsolete failed seal that was supposed to have been replaced by an updated improved seal in the 99 model year. transmission is rebuilt and ready to go in Wends.

More Later

Jack

And you coulda crashed here too!

I'm glad Bob, Rob and Bill and everyone else has gotten you squared away, thank goodness for such a great TDR crowd! Keep us posted on the transmission BOMBing and let me know if you're coming back by this way.

Hey Jack, I'm glad everything turned out ok. Bill called you from my place (Enumclaw, WA) to coordinate his rendezvous with you. Although he was only there a short while, he couldn't resist giving me sh*t about my SPA gauges. He stated my lift pump hadn't really died, just that the SPA fuel pressure gauge was NFG..... NOT! A subsequent check with a mechanical gauge revealed exactly what my SPA gauge knew all along.

Jack, I tell you, how in the heck can you possibly beat customer service like Bill provides? Awesome. . absolutely AWESOME!

Luckily we didn't have to go get Rob's flatbed trailer (in the pouring rain) to haul your rig back to DTT however, Rob had placed every possible thing you could have required with the trailer for any eventuality. That's just the kind of class act Rob is. He also left at least a half a dozen or so phone messages detailing everything (I woke up just a few minutes before Bill arrived so I didn't know anything about what was going on at that point).

BTW Bill, next time you come down plan on staying a while... we'll check out one of the local Mexican restaurants. :) As always, it was a real pleasure seeing you again! You are always welcome at my place. :)

PS: next time enter through my garage... that's the way all my friends enter (the front door is for guests and aluminum siding salesman).

Jack, Sorry I did not say goodbye yesterday, my mind was on the 7hr drive home from DTT. Hope all is well with your transmission. :) That thing was fried:eek: Sure Glad mine did not look like that.

Don't forget about epiflex.com for your exhaust issue.
