On my 02 I have the dealer moved lift pump in the tank, I would like to install an Air dog or FASS. what do I need to do to the draw straw and sending unit to make the change to a better lift pump?

I would say yes... . you will need the draw straw as it's not good to try and suck fuel through that other pump. Is the intake unit going bad? If not I would leave it and the lines there as a back-up if the FASS or Air-Dog would go out... . just a matter of switching some lines and you can be rolling again until the other unit gets repaired.

You want the DSV HiFlow or Upgrade Kit. It replaces the factory pump with a high flow module fitting. This will eliminate any low fuel issues related to installations. The Hiflow and Upgrade kits allow for bypassed fuel to return in the module and keep the fuel bucket full. All kits draw fuel from a lower level than factory.

The standard DSV is for non bypass type pumps. FASS HPFP, Raptor, basic pumps with no additional retuns. This is a 3/8" kit.

The DSV HiFlow uses it's own bulkhead connector and does not require a tank hole. It does require a hole in the module top. This is a 1/2" kit.

The Upgrade Kit is for users that have already installed a DSII fitting in the tank and want to use that location to keep drawing fuel. It's one less hole to try to fill. This is a 1/2" kit.

the AirDog requires a 1/2" to 3/8" dorman adapter we also carry. The FASS does not. This adapter is used for returned fuel to the tank.

You will NOT use the FASS or AirDog supplied filler neck return.
