HELP!! Low Boost

Hey,

We just istalled a super B turbo in my buddies 03 and we cannot get the boost over 15 pounds. He is running a edge EZ and thats it. Could it be this FCA we keep hearing about? He has also had trouble with hard starts for some time. It has gotten better since we installed a FASS HPFP.

Did you check all the boots?? Did you try it without the ez installed?? Maybe the wast gate is set too low from the factor??? Any sound of air leaks??

We chaecked all the boots. He is out driving on the freeway right now. We can unplug the EZ and see what happens. It appears that the waste gate is closed and we are currently running with the boost elbow all the way closed. How else should the waste gate be adjusted?

You wouldn't have a exhaust brake on it?

I have read on recent threads that the exhaust brake will get stuck in closed position causing low boost, it mite of caused low power also.

I'm not a common rail guy, but I don't have any boost elbow or anything for my wastegate. I just bought a small bolt and screwed that in where my turbo picks up the wastegate signal. That way the wastegate is not seeing any boost at all...

I've had one stick in the closed position... . you don't get over 5 MPH.
