Help! Low power engine light on

On my way to work today truck studerd then lost 50% power then the engine light came on. Check all gages all normall. When down road 2to 3 miles then went back to normall. But engine light still on. Went home about 15 miles started to lose power again. What should I do? What could be wrong. Any help please.

Sounds like it could be a bad boost/map sensor or just the conection to the sensor. Try and disconect the boost/map sensor from your fueling box and from the truck and spray some dyelectrical grease on the sensors and reinstall them that might help.

What Code was set?

Got the code p1693. Did a search got all the info. It was the plug going into the map senser. I unpluged it and pluged it back in . Worked great all the way to work and home. Im going to get some grease to put in it. Thanks for your help. I love TDR
