help me decide extended warranty

comrades - 2018 2500 . 34500 miles. oil leak, perhaps multiple. dealer has told me previously its the oil filter. it is not. have replaced the oil filter 2x since i took it in for the oil leak. now i have " soot " buildup between the airbox and the top of the engine. i read in the warranty info that ONLY the following is covered -

block and internal
head
core plugs
inj. pump
injectors
gaskets and seals for listed components
intake and exh manifold
oil pan
oil pump
timing gear and cover
turbo / internal parts
water pump

so , it seems to me, there are plenty of places for oil to leak etc. from NON listed above parts.

i welcome any input. i live far from the dealer. it seems like they dont want to really check on the oil leak...

You have an oil leak it’s covered plain and simple with your age n mileage.

An 18 with 35k, your entire truck is still covered under the factory warranties. But yes, max care would cover leaks, once your power train warranty is over.

Use a better dealer.

You still have bumper to bumper warranty under the 3/36,000. Get FCA involved and or take it to a different dealership before you hit 36,000 miles.

Customer care is a simple 800 number listed in your manual. Get a case started with them.

comrades - i agree on different dealer. one issue is live up in the mountains far from dealer...the other issue is that they legalized dope in colorado and that is proving to be a significant problem in finding any capable employees in many industries.... cheers! thanks for the input.
