Archived Help! Need a reputable dealer in Houston.

Hello, my dad regretfully made the decision to trade his Cummins Dodge in for a gas engine Dodge. It does not have have the power to pull his trailer back to Pennsylvania (he got it here in low gear and sloowwlly at that. ) His trailer is 24', 7000 lbs. The truck has a 5. 7 liter hemi in it. It is a couple years old and has 38,000 miles on it. I personally think this truck should have no problem pulling this trailer. I want to take it to a reputable dealer near the League City area (South of Houston). I just moved here a year ago and since I have a reliable '01 Cummins engine, I never had to take it to the dealer. Could anyone in the area give us a clue as to where to take it?

I've had pretty good luck with Allan Samuels - - - Still buy parts from them - - - but dealers change, maybe someone has had a little more current experience with them or can make another suggestion. Thankfully, don't know anything about the Hemi - - - glad I didn't pay attention to the commercials !



Did you check the fuel filter ? also may have a pretty high ratio rear end. Maybe a 3. 07 or there about.
