Help, need tailgate brackets for my 89

Hello to all my undervalved compadres

I just sold my 89 to my neighbor(i think he bought it to annoy me like i did him for the last 7 years with the noise of our beasts. little does he know that i love the sound of cummings in the morning) the question i have here is Does anybody have a spare set of tailgate brackets(they hold the tailgate level when it is down) as i lost my pair when i had my camper on it and i forgot to put them away. And the basterds at dc want $35 each for them. if not where can i find them at a reasonable price. old and rusty will work.

Try calling up a wrecking yard, they may have the brackets you need. They are on line with other wrecking yards so you have a good chance of finding them.
