Ok guys Im running pretty hot temps with my mods, Im not sure if I need to crank up the wasegate or not, its set at "40" from HTT says there paperwork that came with the turbo but im hitting 45 or so. Im not sure if I should down a size of injectors to a 180 set or not... . Note* I havent tried turning the box down off 5x5 yet... . I want power but I dont want all the heat... btw its getting on the throttle to wrap the motor out the temps climb to 1600 and can go past... . Ive not mixed the water/meth any its just the blue stuff...

Try setting it to 50psi and let the water carry you to about 53-55psi that should still be within range. Paul told me to set my 62 to 53psi and it dropped from 1600or so to 1450, but then again my head is ported, with the new cam going in I hope to get it down to 1300*'s

Id like to know hot to set the water meth to come on at a different time, its auto with the stage 3... . Ill have to mess with the WG tonight.

I think I might down-grade to 200hp sticks.

there is a dyno this weekend in Ohio that Id like to get on and see what she has.



If I turn up the psi on the WG woudlnt that allow more air and help solve the overfueling issue? come on 45lbs on a HTT ProStreet66 ss/16



Im looking for 600hp out of my setup... . I hope I can do it but I dont want to deal with this heat issue... :mad:

with mine set on 5x5 i havent got it to hit 1600 yet, and that pretty much wound out. man darryl much have cooked you up some big ones. 7x12's?
 
You can dial up the wastegate some but once you get the tubro out if its efficiency map you will just be making hot air. This will actually hurt you instead of help you. Lets face it there is a size limit on injectors for having safe egt's with any combonation of parts. Your sticks are not street sticks and are going to cause high EGT's even with twins. Anyone who tells you there street truck runs EGT's below 1250 with 200+ hp sticks is lying :D

I bought them prior to the turbo and didnt have a way of running the truck with them in prior to the larger turbo. Im going to go down to 200 hp sticks, I was wishing that the 240s would work and Id be able to cool them with the water/meth and turbo.



I cranked the turbo up 10 psi but since its SNOWING here in michigan I havent been able to test it out.

While it's snowing and you can't test, double check the water pump and make sure it's turned all the way up. One the head of it there is a set screw that is a 2 or 2. 5 mm, turn it clockwise slowly till you hear it click, this will be wide open. Make sure buy the controller graph that the pump is at full pressure before max boost.

I have the stage 3 and it is injecting before full boost. Ill try the pump trick. it is a 150 pump not the 220... . maybe I need to upgrade?

oooh oooh i vote twinsOo. naaah to tell ya the truth i havnt a clue. but i have heard of people upgrading there sp 66 a bit bigger, maybe its a rumor but who knows:confused: i wanna see 600+ out of the ole cummins
