Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Help needed!!

Just installed new clutch. What's the secret in getting the transmission cross member back in between the frame ?

You can either beat the absolute crap out of it with a BIG hammer or use a porta-power to spread the frame. Most people choose the latter.

If you don't have a porta-power, you can use a hydraulic bottle jack and a length of 4"x4".

Thanks for the information. I used a conbination of beat the crap out it and a jack. The jack worked with a lot less noise and strain.
