Radar,

Don't you just hate it when no one reply's?

I had the same problem and after checking the fuse, ground, broken wires I found that the plug had come disconnected at the transmission. Now I'm not sure where your's is connected on the auto, but on my 5 speed it's up on top of the transmission and kind of hard to get to.

Hope this helps,

Lonnie

Might sound silly but I bought mine from a dealer May 2001, before I left their lot I had them replace both reverse bulbs which were burnt out. Take out the screws that secure the tail assy to ease the change. Hope thats all it is if not could be a connection as Lonnie suggests. Good Luck.

It's likely an adjustment at the switch on the transmission. Move the gear selector lever up and down a little while someone is looking to see if your lights come on. They may come on when you are between reverse and park.

On my 5 speed it was also the switch on the top of the transmission, turned out the switch was just stuck from all the crud build up, but I stuck a new one in anyway. You can just check your's first to see if all it needs is a cleaning.
