Archived HELP - No boost pressure - limping

Anyone have any idea how I can repair this waste gate actuator arm going to the turbo? It looks like a snap ring is missing.



I think the waste gate is open. I am not familiar with this area of the vehicle. But thats what it appears to look like?



I am on the highway, no load thank goodness. loose all pressure and limp to a rest stop. Check hoses first, crawl under and find the attached pics.....



its a little hot now, but i plan on trying to get it back on shortly. Anyone have any idea what size snap ring that holds that on



Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hook it back up the pressure should keep it from pulling loose. I believe its a #10 e clip

I can't get it back on...

limited tools and the pressure IS holding me back 3/8" from the hole. .

got it... it's ON...

good thing DC equipped these trucks with crow bars, they come in handy!!!

Now on to see if I can get a clip to hold it there!

CLIP IS BACK ON STILL NO BOOST!!!

you may have set a P0299 under boost code that put you into limp mode. You should try starting and restarting until the code clears.



If you hade a good code clear tool that would do the trick too

Bob hit the nail on the Head.



Rhino's SMARTY read & cleared the limp code. All better.
