HELP! NV4500 tailshaft seal leaking AGAIN!

The subject says it all. I had the original seal replaced under warranty and now it's leaking worse than it did before! Anyone know of a TSB? I checked Fritz' site but nothing there. TIA

Sounds like you need some new parts, other than a seal. Try this:

I had a leak in the front seal of my trans. I took it to the dealer where I bought it and they not only changed that one but all seals in it and also the transfer case. I was surprised so I asked the reason and was told It was a service bullitin. So far 7K miles and no leaks!
Always keep your paperwork, even if they don't fix somthing. Any complaint you have you should have checked out while under waranty and make them give you a paper showing they checked it. This way when your warranty expires it will show a ongoing problem and they are still required to fix it.
