Archived Help on batteries......can I charge both in the truck.....

Batteries are less than two years old and the truck almost didn't start tonight. I checked and discovered that the fluid was low... in fact I put 32 ounces in each battery, Can I hook up a battery charger directly to one of the batteries so it will charge both of them?????

I sure hope so mine sits in the shop hooked up to a battery tender until I need the truck about 2 times a month!!!!

If you put 32 oz of water in each battery, they are now junk. In fact, they were junk before you added the water. I would say you have an over charge issue or they have holes in the bottom of them

They may have been junk before adding the water, but adding WATER was correct.
