Mexico is not the United States, Not worried about them. I am sure you buy LSD in Africa and in Asia too.

You would destroy your engine if you block off the EGR with the DPF inplace. Your EGT's will get way to hot when it regens. The DPF would be your last concern. But i think you misunderstood me. Its ok, it happens.

How would the EGT's get higher during regen if your EGR is blocked? Somebody here said the EGR is shut off when the truck regens. What I read on cummins forum was that the DPF would clog quickly with the EGR blocked, and the DPF in place.

As far as Mexico having LSD, I guess I forgot that it is not a concern where you may live, but here, it is a big concern, and drivers need to know not to fill up in Mexico if they can avoid it. In the past, it was a habit that didn't hurt anybody but our government, but now, you may seriously damage your engine and exhaust.

I can drive 1. 5 miles (about 2 minutes) to get to the Rio Grande, or drive another 8 minutes, and actually legally cross the border and be driving in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

I am daily having to inform Diesel owners to not put Mexico Diesel in DPF equipped trucks...
