Help On Fuel Pressure Indicator

I HAVE A 03 DODGE RAM DIESEL:::: I AM WONDERING WHERE TO INSTALL THE LED. FOR THE LOW FUEL PRESSURE INDICATOR KIT? IM SURE THERE ARE MANY UNITS INSTALLED OUT THERE AND I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT THE INSTALLATIONS. i NEED TO DO THIS AND I DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHERE OR WHAT TO DO... TKS DOC

I installed the light in the black plastic trim... the name of that piece escapes me right now (to much house work... only thing I can think is crow molding)... it's on the top, just to the left of the driver's right vent... above the radio.



It is very obvious when it comes on... works good.



We installed my dad's, in the same place only on the driver's side above the left vent...

i think a good place for a warning led would be on the A pillar if you had a single gauge pod there. with the srt a pillar, there is space around the gauge to put a few warning led's there. .

when i get all my gauges finalized, i will end up having a low pressure warning light for fuel and oil [maybe use the same with the transducers wired in parallel] to make me look at gauge

Where did you guys get this indicator light kit? How much is it, and how hard is it to install? I have an 06 2500 4x4 quadcab. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Sorry to hear that about geno's garage catolog comes out with the mag here. type in genosgarage.com also there toal free number is 800-755-1715. . that oughtr to get you going. now, gang, I have a automatic trany. No Pod. anyone know what size drill to use and some more ideas where to install the LED? Do you have to take the Dash off . . I hope not. . ha doc

anybody else out there installed one of these fuel pressure LED's Id like some suggestions where to mount the led and pick up the 12 volts in my 03 ram??? Tks DOC

I connected the positive side of my LED to the 12VDC that goes to the fuel pump. This way the lamp will only come on when the fuel pump S/B running and not any other time.
