Help on Office Express removing "unsafe messages"

Look I'm not an IP guy so help me with this as my wife needs to read her email attachments and now all of a sudden Outlook Express is deciding what it allows us to look at. I have XP home - not service pack 2 - Norton Installed, Spysweeper running, a firewall at the router, and Spysweeper. How do I read the attachments????

If its a msn account, you can open the attachments in hotmail, I have the same problem

In Outlook Express, go to Tools then Options and on the security tab uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could be potentially a virus. "
