what is a good mod. with a superchip programer? fuel, timing, what? what does a superchip programer do? fuel, timing or both? i have 99 2500 with intake and exhaust mod.

A set of injectors would work well with a superchips tuner.
 
I always recommend 80-100hp injectors to guys who only want a little more without belching smoke like crazy. Most guys go with the rv 275 injector, because they are cheap [$280], give mild power increase[40hp] & have been known to raise mpg. You don't want to go bigger than 100hp sticks with a stock turbo or egts can become a issue. I would get some 3 flow injectors from industrial injection..... they are rated @ 100hp & 250ftlb. They are super clean & run/idle smoother than stock sticks. I ran a set for 10k miles & had a edge comp with them & never got over 1100 wot. You'll love the performance.
 
Your Superchips does Timing, so you have to be aware of that when deciding wether or not to stack it. 275RV injectors are a great choice, or like posted, a set of 3 flows from Industrial. And Edge EZ might not be a bad stack, but first you need to think about the important stuff - gauges, gauges and gauges.



Oh, and you need gauges!

If you have not installed gauges you NEED a Pyro and Fuel pressure at the absolute minimum. I would add a boost gauge and throw in a triple pod and mount it to the A pillar. With that done you can judge if you are ready for more power or if you have more work to do (AKA lift pump).

Good point..... And he will need some good gauges too. I had asked the same question many times about superchips adding timing & I got Marco to reply & he said that superchips does not add timing.
 
i am a little confused about superchips??? :confused: i am getting gauges, i know that you can not get power from the same place twice, so i was looking to get rid of the superchip and get edge juice with attitude b/c of the gauge pod and hp-torque increase. i have boost fooler and elbow but have not installed it, i also have a AT with triple torque and hd valve body. i am trying to put all of this on my signature. but since i have not the time or the funds to buy all and try all, i have to be choosey. is doing away with the superchip and starting over better (b/c i need a monitoring system anyway)or just adding injectors with a boost fooler and elbow?

The superchips doesn't compare to a juice... . I'd get the juice & you will be happy.
