Can anyone out here tell me :::WHAT DOES THE " TPS " DO ?

Can anyone tell me what ROBLEMS CAN BE WHEN IT GOES BAD??

WAS GETTING THE ( 0123 CODE ) WHEN I TRIED THE ( key-on-off ) TRICK IT DID not DO ANYTHING. SO I UNHOOKED THE ( - NEDATIVE ) SIDES OF BOTH BATTRIES FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES WHEN I RE-HOOKED them and checked all the codes were gone but that darn ( P-1693 ) that seems to go with the truck since bought new. So the problem now still is Oo.

CHECK ENG LITE STILL ON****************

WILL NOT START***********************

WHEN THIS ALL STARTED THE POWER JUST WENT TO POOPGOT SOME LIGHT BLUE SMOKE OUT OF THE TAIL PIPE AND THEN COULD NOT GET FULL THROTTEL AND NO POWER SO HEADED HOME AND WHERE WE SET AND WONDER. ????????iT IS PUMPING FUEL DID ALL THE TEST AND THE v-44 HAS BEEN ON FOR ABOUT 32000.

i AM LOST ANY h~e~l~p ???????????

How much fuel pressure?

Get the codes read and get back tous.

Really sounds like a VP but it could be other things.

blue smoke ussually is a timing issue but could be oil.

Fuel Pressure is 11 lbs.

Check ENG lite still on

Got someone with a CODE READER that will be over later.

Any way to check the VP?
