Any ideas, I hit a big slush pond this AM and the engine cut way back and it acted like the transmission was not shifting. I was limping along at 15 mpg, pulled over, got some coffee and it came back around. I did not ingest any water but the front of the truck was a solid piece of ice/slush. I have the AFE tube/cleaner and it was dry. The engine was reviving weird. Any ideas? The undercarriage was coated too. I am thinking water got in a transmission fitting so I should unplug and put some dielectric grease in there. I think it is time to but that lift pump from Genos... it almost felt like that issue.

Yup. have a good look underneath and check for loose anything. that type of thing has alot of force behind it and can bend or break things, can also push into plugs.

Undercarriage/SKID plate is stuffed with ice/snow. Must have got into one of the E connections. Never an issue in the past.

Sure enough, there was a big glob of ice under my transfer that case must have knocked the transmission electric plug loose when I hit some ice chucks in the road. Put some Dielectric on it and she’s all better. Something to watch for. Just in case I bought a lift pump and at no bargain price.
