2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Help!! Trip meter/high beam indicator

Need help on this one BAD!!! I've ordered my truck new in 2000, it's a 01' it's taken better care of than my wife! HERE's the problem(s) last year I replaced the steering gear box, while disconnected from the steering, my grandson got in the truck and turned the steering wheel far & right a couple of times!! Once the worked was completed these PROBLEMS occured. . (1)... Cruise didnot work... (2) Airbag light stays on. . (3) Trip meter resets everytime the key is turned to off... (4) High beam indicator dosenot work... (high beams work fine)... . NOW... I've replaced the Airbag Clockspring, (twice) it fixes the cruise control, it works fine but all the other problems are still present. Any suggestions???Oo.

Did you look at the wires the clockspring plug into? There could be a dead short/broken wire inside the steering column.
