Archived Help, Truck is down

My truck just shut off.

Hit a bump. About 150 yards from my house. . Like a on off switch. It was running now it not. . Just cranks. . No codes. . it has fuel presser.

Truck has twins, rasp, mack 5's, rad, comp. .

I Need help. . What should I look for?

You've got me! I'd start by checking every wiring connector under the hood. I bet a connector, somewhere, got knocked loose by the inpact. With all the alterations you have I'm sure that a lot of stuff got disconnected and there is the possibility that a connector didn't get locked in place or a lock got broken off.

I'll look in the morning. It has been altered for over a year. . I am hopping its a rely on a 24V that shut everything off.

I`d look for the infamous abraded wire. I just had one on mine that got caught between the frame and the intercooler hose, took out my running lights, took forever to find it.



Definetly check all fuses, might have one blown that could narrow the search. .

First thing I would check is the batteries. What else would shut it off as though it didn't have any?

But you don't need the batteries for the truck to run. And he says that it's cranking over, but not starting.



I would check the fuses for sure to start with.



At least you were close to home when it happened!

Found the problem!!!!

Thanks to all, here the skinny, I have Mach 5's injectors, well I was hard on the padle, and quick off of it. I "vapor locked" the fuel system. . I cracked lines 1,3,and 4 and cranked till I got fuel to #1. (about 10 sec. ) the tighten. Did this on all three, Boom, Got Smoke... (Thanks C-Hawk for that idea)

Truck is acting like nothing happen. Oo.
