A friend of mine's truck just quit running on him yesterday, he told me that the engine just stopped running and that it said he had no oil pressure. I figured it said no oil pressure because his motor was not running, hence something electrical being the problem. But he also told me there was water coming down from his engine compartment, just wanting to get some info for him because there is not a very good diesel shop in our area so he just sent it to some shop.

Thanks

Dustin

We can't help at all if you don't tell us what year and what kind of transmission. Any mods done to the truck would help too. Also where are you?

It's a 99 automatic, they said it was the injection pump, have any idea if thats correct or how much they cost? I am located in Cape Girardeau MO, roughly 95 miles south of st. louis.

Cycle the Ignition on off on off on and check for any codes. It is possible to be the VP44, but that does not account for the water. Also, check the block casting, see if it is an 53, 55, or 56 block.
