I installed a egr delete plate Friday after running with it unhooked for a couple months. Saturday I had the code p0106 manifold pressure sensor performance come up and the electronic throttle control light come on. Today I pulled the map sensor and cleaned it and now the codes poo7d and po106 come up. Also the p0107 is still comeing up and the p1451 and p0405 come up which i figure is because of the egr unplugged. Help please

Well I put all the egr stuff back together and no more codes. What is the deal? I ran with it unhooked for 2 months with only a CEL but no codes. So how come now when I remove the egr and butterfly valve does the codes start and make the truck a POS? Help me out here to understand. Would a tuner eliminate the codes or was I doing something wrong?

Get a Smarty. . Had codes every week when stock. Dropped the DPf and Cat and added a BADP. Still had codes. Added an EGR delete, dump the BADP and added a Smarty S6. 7. . No Codes. . Nada... Since...

I still want to understand why it threw the codes when I pulled the butterfly and the egr when in all reality it should have by just unplugging the egr. The only thing I could figure is there was some different air flow across the MAP to cause the code either because of the butterfly or something.
