Help! Truck wont run.

It starts just for a second and dies. 04. 5 with 60k. did it once last week and then started up so I thought it was a fluke. It has been running fine with no loss of power. Had to ride motorcycle to work, any ideas to check on when i get home? I was going to start with the fuel filter.

Transfer pump fuel pressure is what? With all the stuff you have I can't believe you don't

have guages.

LIFT PUMP. It's under warranty . You shouldn't have to pay a dime I didn't. Did you throw a code ? you should have

Will check for codes when i get home tonite. Fuel gauge is only gauge i dont have yet.

code 191 and 514. after doing a search the 191 appears to be a rail pressure sensor. Does this indicate injection pump? 514 looks like its irrelivent, some battery bs.

The plot thickens, i changed the fuel filter just in case. Old one only had about 10k on it. Gave a bunch more cranks and it fired up, took it for a spin and it seems to run ok. Although I did get the water in fuel code??

Not convinced it was the filter,, since i had the codes. If it runs in the morning I will take it to the diesel shop and have them check lift pump and injection pump just in case.

Would hate for it to do this somewhere away from home.

Mine was good about reading the code for the lift pump failure. Could be something else. Try unloading Juice.
