Hi

I have a 2000 Quad-cab 4x4 with about 80K on it. Its five speed manual 24V Diesel. I was just out on the highway for a stretch with my fogs and lights on. I notice a light come on says check gauges - so I do. All go accept my voltage guage is reading 8 or else the thing just wasn't working at all? Trucks running ok - I get home and pop the hood to check? Belts there and relatively new. Alternator seems ok? Start her back up and she's reading 14 - 14. 5. Does anyone know what is starting to happen here or if its just a glitch? Would like to find out before I'm left on the road out in the country. Thanks for all the great help.

Optima's=Really bad battery

I went with the autozone duralast batteries. Seem to be a great battery for the price... appx. 79. 99 each.
