Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Help w/ fuel leak.

I started leaking fuel and I can't seem to locate the source. It appears to be leaking from down low. The fuel pools near what appears to be a pump underneath near the oil pan. It follows a fuel line and drips. It also seems to be pooling near what I believe to be near the water in fuel release valve. Not 100% sure though. I have been having intermitent fuel pressure problems for awhile. I've also had a 216 code and occassional dead pedal. I'm sure the VP44 is on the way out. I've been bidding my time untill it goes. Any help w/ the fuel leak would be appreciated.

Fuel leak

Mine was leaking fuel in the back where the return line was going to the tank. There is a line from the injector pump and one from the back of the cylinder head that go into a T in the back of the motor. It's a low pressure line. I took it apart and found these little rubber bushings that had been eaten away to almost nothing. Replaced all 3 and no more leak. DW
