Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) help what trans is mine

im going to adjust my bands in my 011/2 ram cummins 4x4 auto and was trying to find out what trans they have . . as the 46re and 47 re are diff any help

47RE. trans is used in your truck. take care in adjusting the bands you need an inch pound torque wrench .

Back off the final adjustment 1 or 1 1/2 more turns than what the book says. A little loose is better than a little tight.
