Archived Help! what's behind here?

On the 2001 24V what is behind the lower radiator hose inlet on the right side of the motor. There is coolant seeping down the side and want to know if there is a freeze plug behind that assembly. It appears that it is not only the inlet but the tensioner and A/C bracket.



Last time I checked this was not a 53 block



Man when it rains it pours!



Leaving for (or should I say not leaving for) Pismo in three days.



Any help is appreciated.

Can you see the weep hole in the bottom of the water pump? Might have to use a small mirror to see it. Sounds likt that might be where it's coming from. bg

There is a weep hole on the side pointed towards the left side of the motor and the is evidence of coolant but no now. It seems to be running down the side of the bracket.

the ac,alt bracket is also the water outlet to the lower rad hose and can leak. a pain to sevice but not so horrible.
