As you can see from my sig... .

I have done a transplant into a Ford.

The CTD runs awesome... starts immediately... . now that i gave it a good source of fuel... . those old tanks must of had alot of foreign material in them to completely clog up the fuel line and starve the poor CTD.

I have the stock computer and engine harness (Dodge) installed and tied into the stock Ford harnesses and ignition switch.

The air heaters work fine... but i cannot get LEDs to light up the wait to start, water in fuel or malfunction signal wires from the Dodge harness.

Am I missing something to wire these up and illuminate correctly?

I wired them up so a signal (power) from the computer would illuminate the LEDs at the correct times... I get nothing.

Is anyone familiar with the 92's and might know what I am doing wrong or missing. .

Thanks in advance...

... Robert...

I am not 100% positive. But I bet the Dodge computer is set up to supply the ground to the idiot lights and not a power output.

I just pulled out the manual. On page 8W-98 of a 93 Service manual. It shows pin D on the message center as being a ignition 12V feed wire. There is no reason to have a 12v feed wire unless the computer is controlling the grounds for the whole panel.

Looking at the diagram on this page. The D terminal supplies power for the Low fuel relay, Anti lock light, wait to start light, water in fuel light.

The ground for the brake light is pin "J".

The ground for Wait to start is pin "F".

The ground for anti-lock light is pin "E"

The low fuel relay looks like pin "B"

Remember that an LED is a Light Emitting Diode. It will only flow current in one direction. If you get the polarity reversed, it won't light up. ;) :D
