I know these questions have been answered many times but cant find a solution to my current issue. here it goes... Installed my Gsk this morning and now the truck seems to rev slower on the way up and the RPMs dont fall off for a few seconds after i let off the pedal. im thinking they may be too tight? Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

Ok that worked,truck back to normal. Thanks 73!!! Also, should i see a significant difference in driveability? The reason i ask is because aside from being in neutral and revving like crazy when im driving down the road it still seems to stop pulling hard arround 3k. Do i need more timing or is this normal? cuz actually im kinda dissapointed :{

go another click at a time until your satisfied. Id say another 2-3 should put a smile on your face. Dont go crazy with them, it will cause the rpm's to hang. You did do the 60lb valve springs, correct?

Doctorman----here's hoping you put in the 60# springs. If not, that backing off you're experiencing after 3k rpm may very well be the valves starting to float, which is not a good thing.

yes i installed the 60lb springs. it actually still has a very lopey idle if you let it idle in 1st or 2nd gear. not sure the cause of that
