Help with an M11.

A friend of mine bought a 95 Frieghtliner with a M11 in it. Is there any way or anything that can be done to hop these motors up? It has about 340 hp and Frieghtliner said they would reflash the ECM to 370hp for $200. If there is anything else out there can help out, that would be great. Thanx in advance.

The M11 is the electronic version of the L10. Other than electronic parameter changes, uprate, etc. There isnt much you can do. Freightliner could uprate further than 370, however, they wont due to EPA regs and the chance of them getting busted.

Can anything be done to the injectors?

I am sure a reputable injection shop could set you up with a higher flowing injector. However, I have not heard of any that are on the market. You may check into what injectors were put into the fire aparratus and RV engines. Usually they will have a higher output. You will just have to find the right CPL for these engines. However, they may have a different piston bowl design etc.

Thats what i was figuring. Also i was thinking about maybe get them extrude honed. I know that fights some of the atomization, but its horsepower.
