Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Help with codes set today on 02

Little nervous. Truck's check eng. light went on. Checked for codes with key. That's what I saw: P ECU, P PCU, p 1693, 1694 and 1698. What do those mean. Where can I check on this site? I remember seeing it somewhere. I had to drop the truck ot the dealer to check it. I was afraid to damage something. Thanks. Ilian

1693-DTC Detected, 1694-No mseeage from PCM, 1698-No message from ECM. Sounds like you lost communication in between the controll mods. Pray the dealer has some one that can do trouble shooting. I had "A BAD EXPERINCE" with a dealer in Port Jefferson Ny. ended up costing me a truck.

Thanks Bob Wagner. If I have it I'll post it but no such luck. I'll try to find it and I'll post it. I'm thinking about Smarty though. First I have to fix the truck.
