Help with diesel leak?

I have a 05 ram2500 4x4 with 5. 9L. . no mods. . I think i have a small diesel leak that is showing up between back of engine and transmission. . Everything is dry up on rail and all injector lines and fittings dry. Is their a return line on back of head?

Well, i just checked again, now I think it is oil, pulled converter access cover and has black oil in side building up. . checked up at back of head and it is dry. well, must be rear main seal leaking. ):

The draft tube can make a slobbery mess back there (air currents blow oil all over that area) as will a leak from where the crankcase vent filter is (under the valve cover).

Thanks, checked that , draft tube ok, more substance shown when pulling access cover off, pretty sure rear main seal.

If it is fuel it could be the banjo going into the filter housing or the clamp where the hose goes on, mine was leaking in both spots

I've had a leak on the drivers side in the past... seems I didn't get the canister completely tight after replacing the fuel filter.
