Best places to live around Dallas area

Long Weekend/ Humor

I want to take my family to Disney World from July 9-13. I would like to stay in one of the resorts on the property. I will be driving so transportation isn't a problem but, I thought a resort on the property would be a little nicer. In addition to the parks, I'm sure we will spend a fair amount of time at the pool, etc. Our boys are 6 and 8. I would appreciate any guidance on which resort to stay at, how to get the best rates, etc.

Thanks,

Jeff

If your kids are anything like mine, go to one of the water park resorts. I think there are two now. One is brand new or just a couple years old and looks like a blast for all ages.

The 2 times I have went down I booked with them directly and I had excellent results. First trip was my honeymoon and we stayed at the Yacht club for one night (beautiful sand bottom pools) and the remainder at the Grand Floridian. This was a top line "grand plan" and turned out to be an excellent honeymoon!

The second time out we drove down and went low budget and stayed at the all star "music" resort. It was nice but definetly not a premium resort! If I could go again, I would definetly stay in the park- just due to logistical advantages. Good luck!
